To amplify the best of humanity’s thoughts and actions in the face of a world filled with social and environmental injustices, it is vital that we maintain our collective’s independence. For us to authentically speak truth to power about the crises affecting our collective future, we need a safe space where no one sets our agenda or dictates which projects are valid — we decide that.

Voices heard. Truths documented.

For our first year, we have been focused on launching our first initiative, Red Canary Magazine, and working on our cornerstone partners for Red Canary CollectiveCoffee With A Black Guy, Ágape Misión Mundial, Biocitizen Inc. and Promote Care & Prevent Harm are among the organizations with whom we’ve recently begun collaborating. We also continue to form meaningful connections with indigenous tribes, to help support their work as stewards of the earth.

By being the vehicle through which marginalized communities can tell their stories without having to compromise with special interest groups or sponsors, we enable vital movements to make their members’ voices heard and their truths documented.

Your support allows us to help make that happen. Today’s challenges are unprecedented, and require an unprecedented collective effort. Every contribution, no matter the amount, is a big help. For as little as $5 a month, your tax-deductible donations pave the way for our environmental and social justice projects to flourish and receive the attention they deserve.

Your donation also goes toward Red Canary Magazine, our independent online publication  providing coverage on the difference-making work being done on urgent environmental, social justice and sustainability issues. Donors who support our magazine have no involvement in or access to our editorial decision-making process.

Red Canary Magazine is a nonprofit registered in the state of Oregon and a tax-exempt organization operating as a public charity. It is governed by an Advisory Board of Directors and guided by the best practices of nonprofit management.
